SIGNS AND GRAPHICS

After graduating from the Art Institute, I began my career in the sign and graphics industry as an oversized print operator at FedEx Kinko’s, where I developed a strong foundation in large-format production, file preparation, and print processes. Over the next ten years, I continued to grow within the industry, eventually moving into design roles at Fastsigns in both Kirkland and Bellevue.

During that time, I worked on a wide range of environmental graphics, signage systems, interior branding, and architectural applications for corporate, retail, and commercial environments. The experience gave me a strong understanding of both the creative and production sides of the industry, from initial concept development through fabrication and installation.

APARTMENT BUILDINGS

A large part of my work in the sign and graphics industry has focused on apartment and multi-family residential complexes, developing cohesive environmental graphics systems that include window treatments, A-board signage, leasing and amenity graphics, and wayfinding elements.

These projects often require balancing branding, functionality, and architectural integration to create clear navigation and a polished visual experience throughout the property.

PRO BUILD

I was tasked with developing the wayfinding and environmental graphics system for ProBuild, a large hardware and building supply chain. The project included the design and production of safety signage, hanging department signs, floor graphics, warehouse identification systems, and navigational elements throughout the retail and distribution spaces.

The work focused on creating clear, highly visible graphics that improved customer navigation, reinforced safety standards, and maintained visual consistency across large-scale industrial retail environments.
