STREET ART

In my younger years, I spent a lot of time around local artists, putting up street art and wheat paste pieces throughout the city. I do not do that type of work anymore, but at the time it was an exciting creative outlet that kept me connected to artists like Henry, Starhead Boy, and Narboo. It gave me a sense of community, creativity, and visibility as an artist.

Even though it was technically illegal, those experiences played a huge role in shaping my artistic voice. Being surrounded by large-scale public artwork and seeing how art could transform an environment directly influenced my later passion for murals, environmental graphics, and large-format design work.

Art and illustration have always been an important part of my life, both personally and professionally. Drawing taught me how to communicate ideas visually, pay attention to detail, and approach problems creatively. Those skills continue to influence the way I design and think today.

Throughout my career in environmental and graphic design, I have always tried to bring an artistic and illustrative approach into my work, whether creating large-scale graphics, signage, or posters. Outside of professional projects, illustration remains a creative outlet that keeps me inspired and constantly developing as an artist and designer.

ILLUSTRATION

Art and illustration have always been a huge part of my life, both personally and professionally. Long before I worked in environmental and graphic design, drawing was how I learned to observe the world, communicate ideas, and express creativity. Illustration taught me patience, problem solving, and attention to detail, skills that continue to shape the way I approach every project.

Throughout my career, art has influenced the way I think about design and storytelling. Whether I am creating large-scale environmental graphics, vehicle wraps, signage systems, or posters for local bands, I always try to bring an illustrative and artistic approach into the work. It helps turn functional design into something memorable and engaging.

Outside of professional work, illustration has remained an important creative outlet for me. It allows me to experiment, stay inspired, and continue developing my skills in ways that commercial projects do not always allow. Art has consistently pushed me to grow creatively, and it continues to influence both the direction of my career and the way I see the world.
